The Bellamy Woods Civic League communicates with residents through a variety of media:
NEWSLETTERS
Our community newsletter is published four times per year. As a public service we distribute issues to all 450+ homes in the neighborhood, regardless of membership status. We are currently in the process of adding an electronic delivery option for those residents who no longer prefer traditional printed hard copies. Click here to see Archived Newsletters.
Residents are encouraged to submit newsletter articles and ideas to Editor@bellamywoodscivicleague.org; deadlines are posted on this website. We value our advertisers for serving the community and helping to reduce our costs. Please contact the Editor if your business or organization would like to reach our market.
EMAIL ALERTS
Residents who provide the Civic League with an email address benefit by receiving timely news alerts. These periodic messages often contain Neighborhood Watch crime prevention information. They may also cover news on nearby road closures or construction, upcoming events, or matters our City government asks us to pass along to citizens. Items such as lost pets or keys reported through this website may also trigger an e-alert to our residents.
COMMUNITY DIRECTORY
Every three years the Bellamy Woods Civic League publishes a Directory of neighborhood residents. These useful booklets help neighbors communicate directly with one another. The Directory also creates a historical record of our community that residents retain and refer back to over the years. The Directory is only distributed to members of the Civic League. Click here to see Archived Directory Covers.
WEBSITE
Created in 2012 after much planning, this website provides another way for our civic league to keep residents informed and to receive input back. In 2016 service issues with the web hosting company prompted a migration to host. We hope that it also highlights our neighborhood's qualities to prospective residents and the world around us. We welcome your feedback at bellamywoodsvb@gmail.com.
