Residents and property owners within our neighborhood boundaries are strongly encouraged to join the Bellamy Woods Civic League.  BWCL is a voluntary membership organization that offers social events, issues newsletters, and has a dialogue with the City of VB on issues or concerns.  Due are only $35/year per home and enable BWCL's programs, projects, and services to be carried out for the benefit of our neighborhood.
 
So what do you get for the $35 annual fee?
  • Our civic league newsletters, published twice a year,  and this website.
  • Events such as Easter Egg hunt, Party In The Park picnic, 4th of July parade, and Halloween Party. 
  • Civic League sponsored Spring Yard Sale with pickup of unsold items by CHKD.
  • Semi-annual meetings with speakers or a social event.
  • Lighted entrance signs to the neighborhood.
  • Maintenance of the entrances and our park's flower beds.
  • The upkeep of the bulletin board in the park.
  • Holiday Outdoor Decoration Contest
  • Responsive Civic League dialogue with the City of Virginia Beach on issues of concern to the residents such as community safety, City programs and planned projects affecting the neighborhood.​
